When an American citizen is dissatisfied with foreign policy, there is a proper procedure for expressing a dissenting view and asking for change. Each state has two Senators and a number of Representatives based on population sizes for various state regions. The Administration oversees government operations at the federal level. American Senators, Representatives and President of may be contacted by mail, e-mail, fax, telephone or even in person with an appointment. Reasonable views and verifiable facts have a good chance of being noticed and studied, and sometimes even acted upon.

If that course fails and you still wish to complain, another avenue is the "fourth estate," that is to say, news and other media. A letter to the editor may be written, or even an article or guest column. Some simply bring their facts to the attention of a reporter or editor who will publish the story. A few even write a book. Another way of complaining is to distribute leaflets or hold a sign in front of a government building. It's wise to do such a thing at the proper building; for instance, it would make no sense to protest School Board decisions in front of the City Sanitation Department building.

But protesting in front of the wrong building is only one improper way to express foreign policy dissent and request modification of same. Spray painting government buildings is another mistaken method, as is smashing light fixtures or otherwise desecrating war memorials. Spouting lies and raising invalid arguments are allowed under free speech, but doesn't do much for the protester's credibility. Desecrated American flags or UN flags are not a good way to say "dissent is patriotic."

Why do "anti-war" protesters use mostly improper methods? Why do they protest in front of military bases, hospitals, recruiting centers and armed forces memorials? The US Military forces have no say in foreign policy decision making! Surely it's not that liberals are so ignorant. According to many "anti-war" protesters I have spoken to, they are far smarter than most people! So they must know what they're doing.

The answer is obvious when the origins of "anti-war" activist groups are researched. Most turn out to be Communist front groups! What does protesting in front of military organizations do for them? It helps demoralize the troops and sway public opinion against their own country's interests. Communism is opposed to the American form of government where complaints are met with either inaction or action on the complaint itself, not the person making the complaint. The Communist government's way of dealing with dissent against policy is either a bullet or a trip to the "gulag" for the grumbler. Complaint solved, Comrade!

But American Communists have no problem using protest methods banned in countries that adhere to their chosen form of government. They have no shame and little concept of verifiable facts. Their world is full of propaganda piled upon propaganda, with endless reams of empty rhetoric. The most important thing to Communists is how noble and industrious they can look. To achieve this end, no lie or accusation goes too far.

In some cases the attacks are successful. After Senator McCarthy was slammed by mainstream news media for his attempts to expose Communism in the fifties, his name became a laser beam aimed at anyone else who tried to relate facts about Communist activities. Shackled by their own previous support for this type of accusation, mainstream news media have been in the past too frightened of being called a "McCarthy" to report on the background of "anti-war" groups.

But things are changing. Stung by accusations of liberal news media bias, mainstream news organizations are beginning to report tidbits of real news here and there. Websites have sprung up documenting speeches and statements by radicals that are well, radical! All of this information is becoming too hard to ignore. News editors and reporters often try to hide the truth by showing quick news clips of a crowd but people now freeze the frame and count the "hammer and sickle" flags.

In Washington DC, the Gathering of Eagles draws nigh. The largest "anti-war" counter-protest in history has the simple mission of protecting war monuments from radical elements. But who are these radical elements? How can they be exposed and brought to light by courageous mainstream news media breaking out of their liberal chains? You can help. Perhaps you don't have a chance to get to Washington DC. Perhaps you have to work on March 17, 2007. But you do have a computer. You can do a little research and emailing.

Find articles and information about Communist type activities of "anti-war" groups. Stick to the blatantly obvious, like the report on Code Pink with the famous photo of Cindy Sheehan and Hugo Chavez. Get the facts and assemble an email in your own words asking news organizations in a nice way to please ask the "anti-war" activist leaders about their stance on Communism during their March 17th, 2007 protest. Request news managers tell their reporters to ask liberals why they protest military installations when the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard cannot change foreign policy.

I believe there are many times when reporters and editors would love to get the story out and make a big scoop. They just need a push in the right direction by laying out the facts for them. After all, it's an open field right now since the public is largely unaware of radical liberals and who they really are. Any news team or newspaper that breaks the story may just have the biggest scoop of their life! Gather some information and send them an email asking them to ask leftwing radicals tough questions…and then report the news. I've sent a few and gotten some good responses. So what are you waiting for? Start clicking, researching, writing and emailing!
